Mac OS 9 was introduced on October 23 in 1999 and was the
last release of the Classic OS. Mac OS 9 was buried in 2002
and in 2004 the last OS 9 bootable Macs were shipped. Of
course Mac OS X is a great OS, it is better then the
Classic OS - but I am a dinOSaur! I grow up with three
folders on my Macintosh HD (I always had only three
folders), after some hours of photoshopping I automatically
want to restart my Mac (even with CS3 and Tiger) and no one
will ever beat the Platinium GUI. Never!
OK - a working memory protection really should have been
implemented.
I know that the design of this site is not one of my best -
but it works in all available Browsers for Mac OS 9 and I
hope it is clean enough to fast find what you are looking
for…
